What We Offer
Below are the different types of activities and sessions that we can offer at New Leaf Triangle.
These run during term time and are usually arranged through a referral from a school or local authority, for students who are struggling with a school setting or a mainstream curriculum. We take students from age 4 upwards for a half day up to 2.5 days per week and provide fun, stress-free learning opportunities in our outdoor setting with our animals. The focus is on confidence building, peer relationships, regulating emotions and self-esteem, incorporating English and maths as needed. We are accredited as an Open Awards Centre and for older students, we can offer a range of vocational qualifications and skill-based courses.
Therapeutic Horse Riding
We have limited availability for regular horse riding sessions after school during the summer months. We also offer the Horse Boy Method and Movement Method, a cutting edge approach to therapy for those with autism, ADHD, PTSD and other conditions that affect the nervous system and the brain.
Holiday Family and Play Sessions
During school holidays we run a range of family, play and respite sessions and camps that can be booked for children and their families. Activities include horse riding and interaction with our other animals, forest activities, such as den building and treasure hunts, archery, arts and crafts and fun sports and games.
