Our Education Provision

For term time students we can offer a range of education provision tailored to the needs of our learners

Education Provision

During term time, we take students for between half a day to three days per week, on a weekly basis.  All of our students are supported on a 1:1 staffing ratio and engage in a personalised curriculum according to their age, abilities, preferences and identified learning targets.  We are an outdoor site and our activities include horse riding, Forest School, time with our animals, sports, games, crafts - all aimed at increasing self-esteem, communication skills, life skills and to re-engage our students with a love of learning.

We can offer qualifications functional English and maths, horse care, animal care and other vocational subjects for our older learners, and we also deliver our own Challenge Award, available to all our students.

Referrals are usually made to us from a local authority or school, though it is possible for parents to self-fund.  Some of our learners are out of school and need support to re-engage with learning.  Others have a placement that complements and supports their in-school curriculum.  We work flexibility with providers to ensure each student has the package of support they need.   The cost of our provision is £35 per hour (this will be rising to £36 per hour in January 2022).
