Harley

"Hi I'm Harley! I joined the New Leaf team in 2017. I used to do Family Sessions and work with some of the horse care students but I excelled at horseback archery! I retired in December 2020 and I am now living my best life in the field with my  best friend Tyler."

Pickle

“Hi, I’m Pickle! I joined the New Leaf team in 2015. I loved cuddles with my students and I was very good at my job. The BHS even commended me for my handwork and dedication to my job! I loved to play games and go on hacks around the beautiful village. Now, I am enjoying my retirement!"

Wendy

"Hi, I'm Wendy! I joined the New Leaf team in 2015. I used to do a lot of the Family Sessions, horseback archery, jousting, back riding and I was a real confidence giver to all my riders, especially when out hacking. I retired in 2019 and I am now living a life of luxury in the field with my friends."

Tyler

"Hi, I'm Tyler! I was part of the New Leaf team since the very beginning in 2014. I was the horse that was first trained in horse boy and back riding. Alongside this, I enjoyed hacking and Family Sessions. I had to have one of my eyes removed 2020 but this didn't stop me from being amazing at my job! I retired in 2021 and I am enjoying my retirement with my best friend Harley."

Star

“Sadly, Star passed away on the 13th April 2024. She was a part of the New Leaf Triangle team since the very beginning in 2014. She used to enjoy hacking around the village, pony games and Family Sessions, especially if she got to race with Pickle. Star competed in the World Grand Prix Horseback Archery too! She was a very much loved member of the team and will be greatly missed. "

“Hi, I’m Beauty! I have been a member of the New Leaf family for 8 years and recently retired in July 2024. I am such a trustworthy girl and have given many children their first rides, helping them learn how to ride, play horse back games and help with their emotions and to develop communication and confidence. I am loving my retirement with my friends.”
